To the donor of the electric blanket.

Dear Beloved
Thank you so very much for the electric blanket that Attie Botha from the Zimbabwe Pensioners Fund brought me last night.
Our winter has stepped in and I just could not warm up since Sunday. My husband is out of town for work purposes and I crept into bed with a cold drink bottle filled with warm water!
Our lives in Masvingo are very much disturbed with load shedding. Every second day our electricty goes off from 6am and comes back any time between 9 and 11pm. Witht he result we go to sleep at 7pm, get up when the lights return and work until 2am doing our essential "electric" work like office work or baking, etc. At 2am the body is so cold that one battles to have a decent sleep again.
Last night when I went to bed I thank God several times for answering my prayers. The previous night due to the cold, my toes cramped and yesterday morning I could not walk properly. I laid hands on my foot and reminded Him that these feet must still walk a lot for Him, serving His servants. What a blessing, my feet stayed warm all night and no more pain this morning!
I have asked God to bless you for this kind gesture!
Once again, thank you so much!!
Stay Blessed
Yours in Christ

I wish to thank you (Hannes), Pastor Botha, Branie and Daniel for the enormous effort you have put into supplying elderly farmers and other pensioners througout Zimbabwe with monthly food parcels. In addition I would like to thank your support network, labour and importantly the sponsors and donors.
The food parcels have been a lifeline to the elderly folk who are the recipients and on their behalf I thank you sincerely for your continued support, friendship and sacrifice to this worthy cause. Despite the challenges you face in your own country, you have taken it upon yourselves to help the destitute elderly in a neighbouring country and this is greatly appreciated by the Commercial Farmers Union. I would be grateful if you would convey our gratitude to all involved in this project.
Kind regards
Yours sincerely

Dear Friends in South Africa
Please allow me this space to say a very big Thank you for all your constant care and boxes of groceries that have been most gratefully accepted. Constantly that have been 'life-savers' time and time again. We would also like to thank you for those extra fancy xmas specials you made for us. You have blessed us over again. All the thought and love shown in these very choices you have put into our boxes.
We also would say a very big thank you to the hours that have been involved iwth the mileage and hopefully not too much inconvenicenes along route. Also the time involved in the packaging of the boxes. We are so grateful to all those 'back-room boys' who are there for the purchasing of goods and distributing. Also not forgetting the effort that is also involved to raise the monies. No I do not take these things for granted. And I humbly thank you one and all alike.
I think we were blessed with the rains we had, but I'm not sure that was generally 'likewise' throughout the country, because of what we sampled, the rain was constantly patchy. But we have water cuts all the same!!! Unbelievable. Still can't accept it - but just must.
Trusting with the flods you had in South Africa I strust that there wan't too much damages in your various areas. You were in our prayers.
God bless you all.
